Parrott Creek Child and Family is receiving some much needed financial respite thanks to a grant from the New York Life Foundation s Love Takes Action program.
The Oregon City-based nonprofit will receive $50,000 to go towards general operations after Simon Fulford, executive director, was selected as an honoree for the program and subsequently selected Parrott Creek to be the recipient of the grant.
Fulford was nominated by Mariah Hurlburt, a financial service representative who works for New York Life Insurance out of its Tigard office. Hurlburt recently advised Parrott Creek after receiving a lead gift for the organization s upcoming capital campaign.
