They were delivered by staff from the Newark store. The school’s assistant head, Amy Graham, said: “During the pandemic, it has really highlighted the value of the community working together. Lovers Lane primary school pupils have made Easter cards for Morrisons, to be distributed to care home residents. Tom Swan’s wife Emma and his mother Angela described an amazing, brave and selfless person full of ambition, compassion and warmth. He had married childhood sweetheart, Emma, just two months before his death. Tom and Emma Swan on their wedding day. Emma, a teacher at Lovers’ Lane Primary School, Newark, said: “Tom was such a positive, upbeat person and so determined to keep going and not let his tumour stop him from living his life, which is shown in his motivation to continue with his masters despite all the obstacles in his way.
