The suspect faces multiple charges – including attempted 1st-degree murder – in relation to the Dec. 20 Lovell shooting.

27-year-old Brennan Scott Hodges is currently incarcerated in the county jail facing four felony counts:
1 count of 6-2-101(a)- Attempted First Degree Murder [Felony]
1 count of 6-2-502(a)(i)- Aggravated Assault and Battery [Felony]
1 count of 6-2-502(a)(ii)- Aggravated Assault and Battery [Felony]

A Sunday morning shooting was reported in Lovell, resulting in a victim with multiple gunshot wounds and a suspect in custody.
Lovell Police Department Chief of Police Dan Laffin detailed the Lovell PD’s Facebook page. At the time of their release, the investigation was ongoing and names were not available.
In the early morning hours of Dec. 20 – shortly after midnight of Dec. 19 – the Lovell Police Department received a 911 call. The caller reported a shooting and a victim wounded by multiple gunshots at the 400 block of Nevada Avenue.
According to the Lovell PD’s report, multiple shots were fired and struck the victim at close range. The shooter fled the scene of the crime before law enforcement arrived.
The Lovell Police Department reported on Sunday that a suspect has been arrested, and the victim is in critical but stable condition, following an early morning shooting on Sunday, December 20.
In the early morning hours of December 20 (shortly past midnight), the LPD responded to a call regarding shots fired at the 400 block of Nevada Ave. in Lovell, WY. Multiple shots were fired, with several of them striking the victim at close range.
The suspect fled the area prior to police arrival, but was shortly thereafter apprehended and is currently in custody.
