Volunteers during one of the community litter picks A community group set up in the first lockdown is continuing its aim to make Chingford a better place to work, visit and live. Formed by a group of local residents and councillors, Love Chingford has so far held more than 20 community litter picks and collected more than 50 bags of rubbish. Around 15 people have volunteered on average for the litter picks that have so far helped clean up Mansfield Park, Epping Forest and Larkswood playing fields. The group most recently worked with Cllr Mitchell Goldie to arrange a North Chingford day of action.
