Senator urges public to make submissions over move that would restrict one-off rural housing in Louth By Ruth O Connell Erin McGreehan raised the issue in the Seanad yesterday
Local Senator Erin McGreehan has criticised restrictions on one-off rural housing in the draft Louth County Development Plan.
The Fianna Fáil Senator says if the current proposal is adopted, it would depopulate the north Louth area, which she claims in the long term will end up closing schools and football clubs
Speaking in the Seanad yesterday, Senator McGreehan urged the public to make written submissions before the deadline at 12pm on Wednesday December 23rd.
