Michelle Eigenheer is a freelance journalist who has covered business, culture, labor, agriculture, infrastructure and more for publications including Business Insider, Marie Claire, VICE, Salon, Southerly Magazine, Louisville Magazine and more. As an audio producer, Michelle is part of a 4-person investigative reporting team creating a longform narrative podcast that explores restorative justice through the lens of a 1991 felony murder case and its aftermath. She is a co-producer and editor for the Just Security podcast, as well as a script editor for The Great Fail, on the Adweek Podcast Network. She is also the creator of an upcoming podcast that explores AAPI/APIDA stories from the South and rural Midwest. Michelle is a graduate of the University of Louisville and has a Masters in Journalism from NYU.
