A record number of women are serving in the 117th Congress, yet Louisiana is one of only 11 states with an all-male delegation. Former three-term U.S. Sen. Mary Landrieu, a Democrat, was the last woman to represent Louisiana in Congress before she was defeated by Republican U.S. Sen. Bill Cassidy in 2014.
