A life-sized statue of Civil Rights Leader, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., has been unveiled at the the Louisiana Civil Rights Museum - The Inaugural Experience located in the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center.
While a lot of places are closed to observe Dr. King's birthday, other locations are honoring the civil rights leader's legacy with events and days of service.
