Priscilla explained: “He would sometimes check himself into the hospital because he wanted to get away from everyone.”
Going on to justify the King’s actions, she added: “He didn’t want the demands, he didn’t want the phone calls.”
It is easy to see why Elvis may have done this, as he was no doubt being followed and harassed every day of his life.
