John flew to Malta, hoping it was going to turn green
What a difference a day makes. Yesterday I wrote about how I had flown from London to Malta as an ‘ambler gambler’.
I was confident that this small Mediterranean nation would be added to the next green list, meaning I wouldn’t need to quarantine on my return to England. My gambit went awry.
As things stand, when I return to England I will need to quarantine at home for 10 days and pay for heavily overpriced Covid tests even after already submitting a negative PCR test to board the plane to Heathrow.
