ISLANDERS are being invited to engage with a new project to help shape Jersey’s environmental policies of the future in what has been described as a ‘completely new’ approach.

Community engagement over the coming months aims to allow Islanders to get involved and share their views on how the Island can meet its target
to become carbon neutral by 2030.
The launch of the Climate Conversation project this week coincides with 9,000 invitations sent to randomly chosen households to register to participate in a citizens’ assembly, which is due to meet to consider the subject for two months from 13 March.
