Louise Ann (Swanson) Miller

ROXBURY — Louise Ann (Swanson) Miller, better known as Susie to family and friends, age 82, of Roxbury, passed away on April 30, 2021, at home after a valiant battle with cancer, with her husband, Charles Miller, by her side, along with her pet, Quinn the cat, who she adored and always called Kitty. She will be missed terribly but is free from pain and is at peace. She worked as an administrative assistant for many years at Graphic Sciences in Danbury and Boehringer Manheim in Brookfield. In her earlier years, she lived in Alaska and Vermont. She was a creative and talented artist and enjoyed crafts and art and drawing amusing characters of animals. She was small in stature and multi-talented, always making improvements around her home.

Feb 24, 2021 Robert “Bob” William Douglas, passed away on Monday, Feb. 22, 2021, at Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake at age 84. He is and always will be deeply loved and missed by family and friends. Bob was a devoted family man: father, husband, grandfather, uncle and great-grandfather. To say he was quiet and reserved might be an understatement, but still water truly runs deep. Bob was born Aug. 29, 1936, to Robert F. Douglas and Eugenia (Lytle) Douglas at Saranac Lake General Hospital. Bob and his sister MaryAnne (commonly called Anne) enjoyed life in Saranac Lake as youngsters and headed to St. Bernard’s Catholic School for their elementary school education.
