Escucha Mi Voz presented a petition demanding that the county distribute $1,400 in direct assistance to 1,700 essential and excluded immigrant workers.

The bypass was constructed in 2018 in an effort to keep truck traffic from driving through Grandview and damaging city streets. U.S. 61 had just been relocated to a new four-lane section just west of the community.
