Washington State University students in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) fields are invited to a research opportunities virtual fair Feb. 3 and 4 from 4–5:15 p.m., said program hosts.
They are the WSU Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participants (LSAMP) and the Team Mentoring Program (TMP).
“We are hosting the event to help students find a research faculty mentor and a project, and to explain possible financial support in the form of research awards,” said WSU LSAMP Director Yadira Paredes.
The fair is an annual event, though this year it will be conducted virtually using a Zoom platform due to in-person COVID-19 pandemic considerations. Also new this year are discussions led by graduate students from about 20 faculty-led programs across the university.
