Both are downtown in the Witte building on Commerce Street, near The Esquire Tavern. Hugman’s Oasis is a tiki bar concept located directly on the River Walk and will have an outdoor patio that can accommodate up to 60 patrons. It will be operated under the supervision of beverage director Jeret Peña of the Boulevardier Group.

Awaited downtown San Antonio tiki bar Hugman s Oasis set to open in early 2021

Hugman s Oasis and House of Má, the new tiki bar and restaurant concepts from Esquire Tavern owner Chris Hill, will open in early 2021 in downtown San Antonio s Historic Witte Building. Named for Robert H. H. Hugman, the architect responsible for the creation of San Antonio s River Walk, the bar will occupy the building s river level. The restaurant, focused on Vietnamese homestyle cooking, will be located at street level.
