A school in the Louis Reil School Division is shutting down and moving to remote learning as of Monday after several cases in students and staff cropped up over the past week.
École Marie-Anne-Gaboury, a K -8 school in St. Vital, will be closed from April 26 through May 7 at the advice of public health after a slew of cases affecting multiple cohorts and staff began last Thursday.

In a letter to parents sent Friday, the school said they are anticipating more potential cases over the weekend.
