A holiday food drive sponsored by The Minot Daily News and Minot Area Homeless Coalition resulted in 1,371 pounds of donated pantry and personal care items delivered to The Lord’s Cupboard in Minot this week.
The drive, associated with a holiday train display and contest, ensured shelves were stocked just before Christmas despite the absence of CP’s annual Holiday Train event, with its associated food drive. Derailed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Holiday Train visit had been canceled.
