29 January 2021 7:12am At a time when international students are at an all-time low at Australian universities, Greece is looking at ways to showcase all it has to offer to international students and those of the diaspora. The General Secretariat for Public Diplomacy and Greeks abroad and the General Secretariat of Higher Education invited prominent members of thediaspora and international academic community to take part in the virtual conference, titled “Reinforcing bridges between Greek universities and the Greek diaspora”. Thousands of participants from 70 countries attended the event on Sunday, 24 January, to better understand the ranking and role of Greek universities in a globalised environment.
