same. st. louis county is again in a state of emergency. less than 24 hours ago, protests devolved into shooting in ferguson, missouri. police say they shot tyron harris leaving him in crimintic condition. now officials from ferguson to washington, d.c. are calling for peaceful protests. i strongly condemn the violence that was perpetrated against the community, including the police officers in ferguson last evening. not only does violence obscure any message of peaceful protest, it places the community, as well as the officers who are seeking to protect it, in harm s way. there was a lot of emotions, i get, but this is something different. we can t sustain this as a community as we move forward. we have other individuals out there who are armed right now.
