this is america s newsroom. this all happened yesterday in orlando, florida. authorities say the gunman shot and killed his first victim around 11:00 a.m. she was a woman in her 20s as an acquaint answer of the suspect. bill: the gunman fled the scene and returned five hours later and opened fire on the reporter and photographer. they were rushed to the hospital. the reporter died of injuries identified as dillon lyons a journalist for spectrum news 13. dana: the gunman sphered a home and shot and killed a 9-year-old girl and wounded her mother. his actions were totally senseless. it is unclear why the suspect entered that home. we don t know what was in the mind of this suspect. and hopefully at some point he will talk to us about what his motives were. dana: the suspect was 19-year-old keith moses. he has a mile long rap sheet. bill: phil keating is live in miami with more on this. hello. good morning, bill. tragic story. the orlando police are withholding the
