Prairie Panther and Rebellious were the two stars that shined on this night with the former taking top honors in the $11,500 Open Handicap Pace and Rebellious scoring in the companion $10,000 Open II event.

Royal Millennium and showed his true grit with a 1:51 score, going first up backside bid denting a :27.3 panel to draw on even terms with the leader at the top of the lane and on to a 2 3/4 length win over Kinnder Jackson (Mike Simons) with Ideal Feeling (Dave Ingraham) third. Bell I No and Lyons Night Hawk, starting saddled with the two outside posts, rallying to pick up the final two awards.
