University of Arkansas at Little Rock professor and prolific writer Frank Thurmond s just published first novel "Lottie Deno: A Novel of the Civil War and the American Southwest" is a work of historical fiction set primarily in Reconstruction-era Texas. Buffalo Bill’s Wild West returns to Dangberg Historic Park on Saturday, August 26 at 11:00 am as the park’s final major event of the 2017 Dangberg Summer Festival.
