롯데의 승리는 2번 타자로 선발 출전한 손아섭이 주도했다 해도 과언이 아니었다. 그는 4타수 2안타 2볼넷 1득점으로 4출루 경기를 완성했다. 5-5 동점으로 양 팀이 맞선 연장 11회초에는 선두 타자로 나와 볼넷을 얻어 4득점 빅 이닝의 발판을 마련했다. 그는 정훈의 좌전 적시타 때 홈을 밟아 결승 득점의 주인공이 되었다.
