Father-and-son brewpub owners opening 2nd Allentown venture in Queen City BBQ space

Blended by Brü Daddy’s, a restaurant and bar concept, plans to open in mid-May at 27 N. Seventh St., on the ArtsWalk. The venture is taking over space that previously housed Queen City BBQ, which closed sometime in 2020.

A father-and-son duo already operating a thriving Allentown brewpub are readying to open a sister venture in the city’s downtown.
Rich Ryan, and his wife, Karen, of Coopersburg and their son, Kevin, and his wife, Cassie, of Allentown, initially opened Brü Daddy’s Brewing Co. in November 2019. The restaurant, brewery and beer garden in downtown Allentown has grown in popularity at 732 Hamilton St.
