Student artists recognized for work in eighth annual show

LOS LUNAS Student artists from across the county were honored during the opening reception for the eighth annual Student Art Show at the Los Lunas Museum of Heritage and Arts on Saturday.
While the creations of more than 20 elementary, middle and high school received ribbons, museum specialist Jan Micalettie said every piece in the show was a winner.

Spring clean up in Bosque Farms
The village of Bosque Farms spring clean up will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, April 17-18. The rolloff containers will be at the village maintenance yard next to the wastewater treatment plant on DeSmet Road.
There is a limited number of containers, so residents will be allowed one load per household and must bring a water or utility bill to prove residency.
