LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The Los Angeles County Sheriff s Department s Super-Spreader Taskforce busted three large parties, two in downtown Los Angeles and the third in Mid-City, and arrested 137 people. The events took place at three locations Thursday night: In the 400 block of Seaton Street; In the 500 block of West Pico Boulevard; In the 5600 block of Washington Boulevard.
In addition to those arrested, a discarded firearm was recovered at one of the parties, the department said.
“(Sheriff) Alex Villanueva has made it clear he will seek out & take law enforcement action against ALL underground party events occurring anywhere within Los Angeles County, who fall under the Health Orders of the County s Department of Public Health, the department said in a post on Twitter.
Many people in Los Angeles County are learning that if you don’t want to get caught with your pants down, you need to follow the rules. Southern California remains one.
