After helping business suffering from the COVID-19 pandemic stay afloat with its “Foot the Bill” program, Vans’ most recent charitable effort saw the company give 320 computers to the Los Angeles-based School of Global Studies. Every student from grade 9-12 at the school which is based in downtown LA received a new Samsung Chromebook laptop plus other goodies like shoes, backpacks, hats and stickers.
Vans and giveaway partner EduCare Foundation arrived at the school in a large trailer with all the free product in tow. Even Steve Van Doren, son of Vans founder Paul Van Doren was in attendance, handing out personalized notes to students along with their laptops.
