Plano apartments sell in $300 million mixed-use development

An apartment community in one of Plano’s most successful mixed-use developments has changed hands.
A unit of California-based Fairfield Residential has purchased the Alexan Legacy Central apartments on U.S. Highway 75. The five-story rental community is part of the $300 million Legacy Central office, retail and residential complex at the southwest corner of Legacy Drive and North Central Expressway.
Built by Trammell Crow Residential and designed by JHP Architecture, the 385-unit apartment property was completed early this year. The new owner has renamed the property Jada Legacy Central.
