The bus started to fish tail. Struck the Center Divide and came across the lanes and rolled over. Officers say the driver submitted to field sobriety tests. He was able to perform the test as we explain. And he was not to be impaired. Reporter they say its unclear how long he was driving with the company. But he is cooperating. They sold the bus to another company last year. That company is based in oakland. We spoke off cam are with an Operation Manager at the company. The company has gps monitors on the bus and the bus appeared to be traveling at a safe speed. He adds the driver is one of the most experienced. Lee passed awau early this morning at Zuckerberg San Francisco general. He was 65 years old. I want to thank dr. Susan orlick who is here with us today and the dedicated professional who is cared for the mayor last night. Our thoughts and prayers are with mayor lees wife anita and his daughters tanya and brianna at this time. When he passed, mayor lee was surrounded by his family, by his friends, and the colleagues who loved him. Ed lee lived a life of service cut far too short, but short far too soon. Like me, ed grew up in Public Housing. The son of working class immigrant immigrants, he developed early on a profound sense of community. A commitment to helping others.
