With the announcement of new measures on June 1 lifting COVID-19-related restrictions on outdoor gatherings, the Hillsdale County Fair Board and its manager, Lori Hull, are scrambling to have a normal fair later this year.
“We are moving forward after the new guidelines were set by the government,” Hull said.
After the 2020 fair was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic, Hull said she is personally thankful to be able to have a traditional fair this year.
“We’re going to pull all this together in just four short months,” Hull said. “I can’t even tell you how relieved and excited I am. Last year was such an uncertainty.”
