Although this will be NC MedAssist s fifth Annual Executive Luncheon, it will be the organization s first-ever virtual fundraiser. With more than 200 individuals expected to attend the event, NC MedAssist hopes to raise $100,000 to provide free pharmacy services to those most in need throughout the state.  The event is sponsored by Atrium Health, Humana, and Cardinal Healthcare Innovations.

Free meds: Let us help you, North Carolina

NC MedAssist is North Carolina’s only charitable, mail-order pharmacy. With uncertainty surrounding the novel coronavirus and its lingering effects, our mission is more critical now than ever this holiday season. This year has been difficult for many people, and the financial hardship that the pandemic has caused has hit close to home. Over 280,000 North Carolina residents have lost their jobs and consequently their health insurance, leaving them and their families without access to life-saving medications. These individuals are hurting the most and require the support of their community and neighbors. Imagine being unable to afford the medication that will keep you alive.
