The teenage suspect in a string of hateful graffiti sprayed around Portsmouth earlier this year was not at his court hearing because he has left the country for two years.
Loren Faulkner vandalized 18 locations in Portsmouth during one night in February with messages and symbols of hate, according to Attorney General John Formella.
Loren Faulkner, 17, of Portsmouth, is facing 22 counts of violating the state's civil rights act for what authorities said took place over the span of a year.
