A non-governmental organisation (NGO) arm of The Church of the Lord Worldwide (TCLW), Justice Equity Peace and Empowerment Foundation (JEPEF), has empowered 200 women and girls entrepreneurs in Oyo State.
The empowerment training-cum-workshop, which took place at Ighodalo Hall, Agbowo-University of Ibadan area, Ibadan, Oyo State, was to assist the womenfolk and lift them out of their economically- disadvantaged state.
According to JEPEF programme coordinator, Evangelist Prince Samuel Adefowope Ashaye, the women would be trained in Agriculture/Agro-allied, Livestock sectors and financial management for prudency.
He added that aside training and empowerment, a JEPEF Cooperative Society, Oyo State branch will be set up for the purpose of follow up.
