The closure was prompted by a power failure at the water facility on Carrollton Avenue. Morris Jeff Community School said toilets at the Lopez Elementary and Middle School campuses will not flush. School officials say students will be sent home early as well as staff. As soon as the buses arrive on campus, students will load and be dropped off at their stops. Families will be notified when the buses have left the campus, according to school officials. Lunch will also be sent home with students that have requested lunch for today.
