Over 1 2-M Covid-19 vaccine doses given in Zambo City

ZAMBOANGA CITY - A total of 1,218,205 doses of the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) vaccine have so far been administered in this city since the vaccination rolled out in March 2021, the city health office (CHO) reported Friday. Of the total doses administered, the CHO said 620,345 were for the first dose, while the remaining 597,860 were for the second dose. The CHO data showed that the majority of those partially vaccinated are front-liners in the essential sector who fall under the A4 priority group with 160,021. The rest are the following: workers in front-line health services (A1), 19,206; senior citizens (A2), 51,787; individuals with comorbidity (A3), 70,704; indigents (A5), 113,045; rest of the population (ROP), 113,420; pediatrics with comorbidity (12-17 years old), 1,760; and, rest of the pediatric population (ROPP), 90,402. Zamboanga City Health Office ZAMBOANGA CITY - The city health office (CHO) reported Wednesday that a total of 1,098,532 individuals have received their coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) vaccines since the start of the vaccination rollout here in March 2021. Data from the CHO showed that 602,812 of the 1,098,532 vaccinees have received their first dose while the remaining 495,720 have received their second dose of Covid-19 vaccines as of Tuesday. The data showed that 86.7 percent of the target eligible population have been partially inoculated while the remaining 13.3 percent have been fully vaccinated. The target eligible population for both first and second doses is 694,696, according to the CHO report. Data from the CHO released on Saturday showed that 452,366 of the total have been fully vaccinated while the remaining 597,419 have received their first dose. The numbers for fully vaccinated and partially inoculated individuals represent 65.11 percent and 85.99 percent, respectively, of the target eligible population of 694,696. "Zamboanga City aggressively pursues vaccination with the aim of achieving mass population protection (at) the soonest possible time," Mayor Maria Isabelle Climaco-Salazar said in a statement.
