BLAINE, Wash. – Splash Days are back in Blaine this summer.
The Blaine-Birch Bay Park and Recreation District two is bringing back the event to help kids keep cool in the heat.
Blaine Public works will shut down part of Third Street next to Loomis Hall and attach sprinklers to the fire hydrants tomorrow (Friday) between 12:30 and 2:30pm.
The free event hosted by the district celebrates Parks and Recreation month.
Hot dogs and chips will be on hand for attendees and the Sugar Shack ice cream truck will also be there.
The second Splash Day will be held on July 30th.
