TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - A recently retired coach who led teams at Lufkin and Longview, as well as a new coach to the Tyler area, died this week.

LONGVIEW, Texas Longview ISD is planning to offer free COVID-19 vaccines to all staff members.
Superintendent Dr. James Wilcox said the vaccines offered by the district are voluntary and free of charge.

LONGVIEW, Texas The Judson Middle School (JMS) Perks Café is officially open for business.
It s a new coffee shop entirely run by students to serve their teachers. I love seeing the smiles on all of the teachers when they come in, 7th grader Kamdyn Scott said.
Scott works as the coffee shops order taker and cashier. She said the coffee shop is not just about serving their teachers, she said she is learning money management and counting skills.
