龙泉山城市森林公园森林覆盖率不断提升
环境改善引鸟类“拜访”
每年春秋两季，猛禽都会进行季节性迁徙，在此过程中，龙泉山是一个过境和暂时性的栖息地，是成都春秋季观赏猛禽的绝佳地点。据成都观鸟协会估算，此前经过龙泉山脉的鸟类就有几十上百种，其中猛禽的种类就有10余种，数量达到上千只。
成都观鸟协会会长沈尤说，十年前，他就跟同伴们一起来龙泉山上拍鸟，那时候山上植被非常稀少，荒坡较多，而近几年来，龙泉山不仅植被更丰富，生态环境也更加优美，“猛禽一般会选择有良好植被环境和捕猎条件的地方作为迁徙途中休息的地方，植被茂密的龙泉山便是猛禽的主要选择之一。”
