4Es is the garda approach for Covid compliance, according to Chief Supt of Longford/Roscommon/Mayo Published: Friday, 30 July 2021 08:45
Gardai across the new garda division of Longford/Roscommon/Mayo are putting the emphasis on the 4Es - engaging, educating, encouraging and enforcing in ensuring that Covid regulations are adhered to. That’s according to the newly appointed Garda Chief Superintendent Raymond McMahon.
Chief Superintendent McMahon took up the new position from Chief Supt Tony Healy who retired at the start of this month.
Earlier this week the Mayor of Galway, Colette Connolly accused the gardai of turning a “blind eye” to anti social behavior in the city during the pandemic.
