Educator Rhoderick Samonte, who was among those who gathered at the site of the felled trees, said they are grieving for the damage that has been done by different government offices by cutting the 26 fully grown trees recently.

SunStar Construction of 3 satellite markets underway

+ March 09, 2021 BACOLOD City Lone District Representative Greg Gasataya said Tuesday, March 9, that there is now an ongoing construction of the three satellite markets in the city.
These include the renovation of villages Granada and Sum-ag markets, and the construction of Banago village public market.
Gasataya said the National Government allotted about P140 million for the improvement and construction of the three satellite markets.
He said in Barangay Sum-ag, they will construct a two-story building with a parking area for the economic enterprise of said barangay.
