COVID-19 testing to find outbreaks and clusters sooner in the region’s largest school board began Wednesday in Aylmer with a delayed start.
Voluntary tests for staff and students without symptoms began in the Thames Valley District board a week after it started at Catholic Central high school in the London District Catholic school board.

The first Thames Valley testing site was at Aylmer’s East Elgin secondary, a school once home to a mobile testing unit when the community was considered a COVID hot spot. Testing was also open to elementary schools that feed into East Elgin secondary.
