The Public Theatre production of “I And You” will end its streaming availability at midnight on Sunday, March 21. One year ago, this production – featuring Emma Wisniewski and London Carlisle – was cancelled on the day it was scheduled to open. Only the preview audiences saw the show. Before sending the actors home to New York, this performance was recorded in front of a small audience and one year later, The Public Theatre has been granted permission to share it. Mysteriously forced together to complete a book report, an unlikely pair of teenagers discover a shocking secret that will connect them forever. Joyful and heartbreaking, “I And You” carries an uplifting message for this moment in time when we all miss feeling connected. Tickets can be purchased online at thepublictheatre.org or by calling (207) 782-3200. A single ticket (one person watching) is $15, and a household ticket (2+ people watching together) is $25.
