Lon Porch, 73, a native of Union Grove died Friday, Dec. 18, 2020.
Mr. Porch was born Oct. 26, 1947, and raised Union Grove to Jack and Mabel King Porch. He married the former Linda Leach in 1968. She preceded him in death in 2005. He was married to Janet for the past 13 years.
He was a 1965 graduate of Arab High School. A Vietnam-era veteran, he was proud of his service with the United States Air Force. He served in the 354th Civil Engineering Squadron at Kunsan Air Base Korea as a training NCO and sergeant. While in Korea, he earned a 1st Dan Black Belt in Tae kwon do
