Burlington man who allegedly shot at deputy faces more charges

KEYSER - The Burlington man charged with attempted murder after he allegedly pulled a gun on a Mineral County Sheriff’s Deputy was indicted Tuesday on two additional felony charges unrelated to the shooting incident.
Logan Adam Bowman, 2266 Northwestern Turnpike, Burlington, was indicted by a Mineral County Grand Jury Tuesday on two felony counts of first degree sexual abuse.
Grand Jury proceedings are sealed and there is therefore currently no further information on what the charges stem from. During January’s Grand Jury, however, he was also indicted on two counts of sexual abuse in the first degree and one count of sexual abuse by a parent, guardian or custodian.

KEYSER - Suppression hearings for Logan Adam Bowman and Neil David Lambka were held Friday, and the unrelated cases were both continued.
Bowman, 37, of Burlington, is charged with three counts of attempted murder and wanton endangerment after allegedly attempting to shoot the Mineral County Sheriff’s deputies as they were arresting him Aug. 14 in the West End of Keyser.
Lambka, 49, of Keyser, is charged with intentionally setting fire to a Third Street home, which left two people homeless and injured a firefighter last March.
According to law enforcement, the deputies discovered Bowman when they were on patrol the evening of Aug. 14 and had stopped an unidentified person for trespassing on CSX property near Vernon Street.

KEYSER - The Burlington man who was shot Aug. 14 after allegedly attempting to shoot the Mineral County Sheriff’s deputies attempting to arrest him will be back in court next month.
Logan Adam Bowman, 37, is charged with three counts each of attempted murder and wanton endangerment with a firearm, in addition to one charge of person prohibited from possessing a firearm and trespassing on property with a firearm.
Bowman was discovered by deputies on patrol on the evening of Aug. 14 when they had stopped a male subject for trespassing on CSX property near Vernon Street in Keyser.

KEYSER - A Burlington man who was shot when he reportedly pulled a gun on a Mineral County Sheriff’s Deputy last August as the deputy attempted to serve a warrant has been indicted for attempted murder.
Logan Adam Bowman, 2266 Northwestern Turnpike, Burlington, was indicted by a Mineral County Grand Jury Tuesday on three counts of attempted murder, three counts of wanton endangerment involving a firearm, one count of a prohibited person possessing a firearm and one misdemeanor of trespassing on property with a firearm.
According to police reports, deputies on patrol in the West End of Keyser on a Friday evening in August 2020 had stopped a subject trespassing on CSX property near Vernon Street. As the deputies spoke with the subject, a second subject, later identified as Bowman, was located and determined to have had outstanding warrants from Grant County.
