The Buffalo City Council has tentatively approved a water tap for water service outside the city limits.
Kim Bolinger requested the water tap for his property at 60 Airport Road, and the city council discussed the request at their meeting this week.
As explained by City Building Inspector Terry Asay, Bolinger will tap into the existing city water line on Airport Road, run an 8-inch line under the road to his property and install a 3/4-inch tap to run to his residence.
The project still needs to be engineered and approved by the DEQ, so the council essentially was approving the tap for him to move to the next step in the process.
