N B Adds Eight New Cases Of COVID-19

New Brunswick Public Health reported eight new cases of COVID-19 on Friday which includes two travel-related cases of New Brunswickers who are isolating outside the province. The Moncton zone adds three new cases involving two people in their 20s and one in their 30s. All three cases are contacts of previously confirmed cases. In the Saint John region, there is one new case involving a person in their 50s, the case is travel related. The Bathurst region has three new cases involving two people in their 50s and one in their 60s. One of the cases is travel-related, another is a contact of a previously confirmed case and the third is being investigated.

N B reports one new COVID-19 death, seven new cases; pregnant women now eligible for vaccines

  HALIFAX Health officials in New Brunswick are reporting the province’s 34th death related to COVID-19, as well as seven new cases on Wednesday. Public Health says a person in their 60s in the Saint John region (Zone one) has died from COVID-19. I am saddened to learn that another individual has lost their life as a result of COVID-19, said Health Minister Dorothy Shephard in Wednesday’s media release. On behalf of all New Brunswickers, I share my sincere condolences with the family and friends of this person. This brings the total number of COVID-19-related deaths in the province to 34.
