Lee E. Price, 74, of Coldwater, passed away surrounded by his family, Sunday, May 9, 2021 at Ascension Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo. A graveside service will be held Thursday, May 13, 2021 at 12:30 PM at Lockwood Cemetery with Pastor Shayne Looper from Lockwood Community Church officiating. Arrangements are being cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home.
Lee was born October 15, 1946 in Ft. Wayne, IN to Edward & Ethelyn (Tooman) Price. He married Nancy A. Breneman on August 5, 1967 in Coldwater. They celebrated 53 years of marriage.
Lee was a lifelong farmer, owning and operating his family farm. He also worked at the former Federal Mogul and as a custodian for the Coldwater school administration offices and Lakeland School. He was always a favorite amongst the kids at Lakeland.

Suzanne Elaine âSuzyâ Cooper, 71, of Quincy passed away Thursday, April 15, 2021 at her home with by her loving family.
A funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 19, 2021 at the Oak Grove Cemetery Chapel with Pastor Shayne Looper of Lockwood Community Church officiating.
Visitation will be held, prior to the service, beginning at 12 noon, at the Oak Grove Cemetery Chapel. Interment will follow.
The family is being cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home.
Suzanne was born July 19, 1949 to Robert and Veronica (Charley) Cooper in Detroit. She was a special needs child, spending her entire life living with her loving family. Suzy was part of Adapt for over 25 years.

According to research published by Stanford psychologist Steven O. Roberts, people who perceive God as a white male are more likely to believe that white males make better leaders than other people. And since “People are constantly exposed to the image of God as a white man,” or so says Professor Roberts, this presents an obstacle for the future of race relations.
I question Roberts’s claim that people are constantly exposed to the image of God as white. It seems to me that people are seldom exposed to the image of God at all. But when they are, at least in American culture, the images do seem surprisingly Caucasian: the white-bearded grandfather God on his throne in heaven or the Jesus of popular conception.
