Catholic Health does not own or operate Eastern Niagara Hospital (ENH). We are excited construction is progressing on our new Lockport Memorial Hospital, which is expected to open this fall. Our health system will continue to provide care to residents throughout Niagara County at our other facilities, as well as take over operations of ENH s urgent care and ambulatory surgery center on Transit Road immediately following the hospital s closure.
Construction of the new, 60,000-square-foot Lockport Memorial Hospital (LMH) is proceeding at a record pace as a result of Catholic Health s continued collaboration with the New York State Department of Health, local government officials, and its construction partners. Ground was broken in November 2021 for the $62 million facility - the largest investment in eastern Niagara County in recent years - which is expected to open in September 2023.
