this morning on world news now, breaki new this morning on world news now, breaking news. jerry sandusky speaks out, addressing the penn state sex abuse scandal. he says he s innocent of all the charges, and he even comments on those locker room showers with kids. it s tuesday november 15th. good morning. i m sunny hostin. and i m t.j. winick in for rob nelson. jerry sandusky is breaking his silence. he told nbc he admitted to horsing around with boys, but he insists he never abused them. his attorney is also speaking out, saying sandusky is distraught over the case. we ll have all the latest details straight ahead. and it looks like another revered university is confronting its own sex abuse scandal.

nation s attention is what s happening at penn state university. penn state has a game today against nebraska. it s the final home game of the season. and there s going to be it s going to be a media circus for obvious reasons. the fact pattern briefly, last saturday former assistant football coach jerry sandusky was indicted on 40 counts of sexually assaulting boys as young as 7 years old. the complaint from the grand jury, 23 pages long, incredibly damming document, i should stipulate it is just a grand jury finding, nothing has been proven. it is allegations at this point. but the finding of fact, the most startling finding of fact in the grand jury report, the one most people have been focusing on is an incident in 2002, nine years ago ago graduate assistant coach mike mcqueary goes into the locker room where he allegedly sees sandusky raping a 10-year-old boy in the locker room showers. mcqueary calls his father, he runs out, calls his father. his father tells him to talk to
long time. her identity, obviously, hidden there. that appeared on good morning america. she s talking about former penn state football coach jerry sandusky, once a top assistant and possible successor to the legendary joe paterno. he s now facing a 40-count indictment. the allegations detailed a nauseating 23-page grand jury report. in it, the boy whose mother you just heard from is known as victim number one. according to the grand jury document, victim number one testified that ultimately sandusky performed oral sex on him more than 20 times through 2007 and early 2008. but even though he s called victim number one, he s actually the last in a long line of alleged victims that stretches back to the 1990s. we have detailed the abuses, especially two alleged incidents, one in 1998 and one in 2002. the first, a series of fondling incidents was reported to campus and local police as well as university officials and pennsylvania s child welfare agency. ultimately, nothing m
