The third leg of the MGM Borgata Pacing Series went postward Monday evening at Yonkers Raceway, and fans saw some new faces find their way to victory lane in four divisions.
Matt Kakaley will enter Monday’s third round of the MGM Borgata Pacing Series with three horses within nine points of the top eight in the standings and an eye toward enhancing their chances of qualifying for the lucrative April 24 championship.
“It’s important to try to get as many points as you can early in the series because then it gives you the chance to maybe get a week off somewhere. Everybody is thinking the same, so that’s why it’s such competitive racing.”
Lochinvar Art A, Hellabalou, Leonidas A, and Idealsomemagic A emerged victorious from the four $50,000 divisions of the opening round of the MGM Borgata Pacing Series for free-for-allers on Monday night (March 20) at MGM Yonkers Raceway.
